Workshop instructors vary and may include Contact Improvisation, Yoga, and Acrobatics. Workshop is our time to get to know each other! We will learn various movement techniques and facilitate the free-flow environment.

AZ Improv Jam is dedicated to free self expression and invites all adults, children, artists, dancers and performers to connect through movement. Ari has over 400 hours of Contact Improv experience, including programs at EarthDance, Bill T Jones Arnie Zane Company Intensive, Texas Dance Improvisation Festival, Pilobolus Dance Intensive and teaches Contact Improv to students age 12 to 72 in a variety of settings and facilitates jams in Tulsa Oklahoma. Her choreography has been commissioned by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Tulsa Artist Fellowship, Harwelden Institute, among others. She makes dances for the stage and special places. She is the founding Executive Artistic Director of Tulsa Modern Movement, teaches Contemporary Modern Dance at the Tulsa Ballet CDE and Art Infusion with Oklahoma A+ Institute. This member can host out-of-town jammers.Īri Christopher is a dance artist, educator and organizer.
